We hate small print & wordy contracts. We like to keep things simple at Affitto – so our processes have been designed to make life easy for everyone. We will use email, online forms and electronic documents (pdf) to keep our costs to a minimum and speed up the process.

Looking for a property

The more information you give will help us match you with your perfect property. We’re proud of our local knowledge so if you want some expert advice on school, restaurants, local amenities and transport links please ask us.

Seen a property you like?

Once you have seen a property you like please contact us to organise a viewing. We understand that most tenants work and viewing a property during working hours is often difficult. We are happy to do evening and weekend viewings at a time convenient for you.

Credit check & Reference

The next step is the referencing and credit check procedure it usually takes between 24 hours and two working days depending on how quickly the referees respond. Our entire tenant referencing procedure is completed by you online. We will need to see some identification this can be a photo driving licence or passport and a recent utility bill.

Tenancy agreement

When the landlord confirms that they would like to proceed we will draw up the relevant paperwork, forming an agreement to be signed by both parties.

Your Deposit

In line with current legislation Affitto will register all suitable deposits with the DPS on behalf of our landlords and tenants within 14 days of the start of the contract. The Deposit Protection Service (DPS) is a tenancy deposit protection scheme accredited by the Government. It is provided free of charge, and funded entirely by the interest earned from deposits held in the scheme. See www.depositprotection.com for more information.
